The Death Shroud
The Vorago of the Deathlands is, quite appriopriately, named the Death Shroud. It appears as a swirling sphere of darkness covering the centre of the region. Those who managed to get into the Vorago and return, report that the landscape is a dead, blighted land, covered with tombstones and full of roaming undead – mindless and otherwise. These undead, often lead by some stronger and sentient ones, sometimes manage to break through the Vorago and get into Serlon, attacking one of the nations surrounding the Shroud.
The Death Shroud covers an area that before the Second Tearing was a contested zone between the Skyrians, Aristar and Teneren. Now it forms both a natural border between those places and is a source of power, desired by the necromancers – particularly Skyrians – want to get their hands on.
